Guelph, ON (November 7, 2012) – This month, Apartment and Commercial portfolios aren’t the only things growing at Skyline. The company is once again cutting “clean-shaven” out of its vocabulary as it commits to Movember, a month-long campaign driven to “change the face” of men’s health.

Participants in the campaign, nicknamed “MO Bros,” spend the month letting their moustaches grow free as a demonstration of support.  “MO Sistas” are also welcome to put their best MO face forward, although, naturally, they are given a little more room to cheat in terms of their MO’s authenticity.

The Skyline MO team is comprised of nine of the company’s owners and employees, captained by Martin Castellan, Founding Partner and Chief Development Officer of the Skyline Group of Companies. The Skyline MOs also participated in last year’s campaign, partnering with the Guelph Storm MOs. Throughout the month, both teams acquired generous ‘staches – and donations from benevolent-minded individuals – until the teams had a MO Showdown at the end of the month. Before finally ridding themselves of their fancy facial landscaping, the Skyline MO Bros and Sistas “owned their MO” by dressing up to accentuate their furry facial accessory. The Skyline and Guelph Storm MO teams collectively raised $13,000, and Skyline hopes to once again make a great contribution toward the research and prevention of men’s cancers this MO season.

Funds raised will go to Prostate Cancer Canada, in support of prostate cancer initiatives through the Movember Foundation’s GAP program, and the Canadian Male Health Network.
