GUELPH — A Guelph-based real estate firm has taken home two awards from the Federation of Rental Housing Providers of Ontario.

On Nov. 29, 2012, Skyline was handed the Property Manager of the Year award to honour the exemplary work of Richard Izawa, who leads a team of resident managers in overseeing 27 buildings across southwestern Ontario.

The firm was also awarded the Environmental Excellence award, which was presented by one of Canada’s most renowned environmentalists, David Suzuki.

At the gala event where the awards were presented, the company also received recognition by placing among the top three in the categories of Community Excellence and Resident Manager of the Year.

In the last four years, Skyline has received 14 nominations and has won eight awards in six categories.
